I am the type of person who likes to cook by look/feel rather than by following a recipe, when I can. I like to know the theory & then I can make adjustments. I’ve never been too sure about making white sauce, I’m not quite sure why, I’ve done it before, but then forgotten the measurements. I recently found it out again & made a note of it, so wanted to note it down here, to remind myself.
50g Butter (melted)
Add ingredients to a pan in that order. The other day, I just wanted to make a small amount, so did 10g, 10g & 100ml!
I was going through the bookmarks I’ve saved on our computer, and came across this site and after a little bit of a look around, I spotted these recipes that I’d like to try out:
spinach and potato bites,potato pancakes
sugar & sweetener free jelly
…on my blog.
This was a cute feature that I couldn’t resist. There will be snow on my blog until 4th Jan. If you are feeling bored (or intrigued), move your mouse cursor left or right and watch the snow change direction!
Weaning suitable cheese and vegetable muffins
Cheese and vegetable muffins
A fantastic recipe from My Daddy cooks. I’ve used this many times over the last few months, making both full size ones and mini ones. I tend to use broccoli, carrot and courgettes, because they are easy to use, and get some good veggies into my daughter without a fight!
I have had a few blogs over the years, but I wanted to do one with hopefully a bit more structure, focus and regular updates! Over the last year or so my husband has said to me, you should really blog that! I’ve replied with a sound of agreement, but never got round to doing anything about it. When I was pregnant with my daughter I blogged about aspects of my pregnancy, but since that crazy day when I gave birth to my unique blessing from God, life has been busy, sleep is precious and a mixture or Facebook and Babycentre groups have sucked up my little spare time.
